HEAD GROWER FOR GUARDSWELL GROWS

We are looking for someone to take over the operation of Guardswell Grows for 2025- and potentially beyond- really taking hold of the reins and running with it. A really brilliant opportunity for those who have a little experience but want to use it as a stepping stone to their own venture- whether that is purely a market garden or an extended small farm with livestock element. 

They will be responsible for all things “Guardswell Grows”- from the sowing, to the growing, to the harvesting, to the selling. As well as the Growing side, there will be ample opportunity to be involved in other “growing” areas of the business- from the livestock production, to the Diggers Cider orchards, and new projects such as a small vineyard on the farm.

BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT + EVENTS MANAGER

This is an events role for a go-getting, creative, energetic individual. Someone who cant stop their brain from coming up with new ideas, someone who can see the detail in an event from its conception. It melds creativity with extreme organisation- you’ve got to be able to think 20 steps ahead, and make sure the rest of the team know whats going on. 

A bit of an existing role, mashed together with an exciting new one! This role spans two areas- taking over our the existing organisation and management of our own Guardswell events, and also, a very non Guardswell term- “Business Development”. What we mean by that- is someone who can look at our Steading space and farm and see a myriad of opportunities and untapped potential. 

You’ll be responsible for our commercial events on the farm- ranging from high end fashion photoshoots to private bookings of the spaces for a celebration. As well as any events that we run ourselves.
