OUR YEAR ON THE FARM


A year at Guardswell is driven by the shifting seasons, the ever changing weather, the continual progression of birth, growth and occasional death. Flowers bloom so fleetingly, the elderflower is there and then gone, the bluebells too. One moment, the sheep are being sheared in the summer heat, the next you are donning four woolly layers as the leaves litter the ground.

Every one of these moments is special to us, and we hope that our wonderful guests stop and notice the beauty of these passing moments.

To try and not blink and miss them- we thought we'd pop them down for you- a few of them at least. And then, if you've an unbooked trip planned on the horizon, you can choose that moment that you don't want to miss.

And if nothing else- it might remind you to slow down a little and notice the changing seasons around you.
